Meet Kith & Kin

As it gets colder and the chill starts to set in, our thoughts turn to comfort food, drinks of cheer, and quality menus.

Owners Joe and Amanda Boudreau have an extensive and varied background in restaurants specifically developed from the food scene in Portland, Maine (see their website).  After living in Portland for 10 years they appreciated the noncity living; moving back to Massachusetts for work and family reasons, they found Hudson to be very much like the Portland area—a perfect place to start a new restaurant as Joe Beaudreau states, …"in a great community that supports small independent business."

Food has always been a passion for Joe and it’s been the only job he has held since he was 15 years old.  He takes pride in producing something that gives others fulfillment and enjoyment.  Joe loves simplicity and develops his menus so folks can taste the food they are eating.   For example, he loves a burger that simply has sea salt, a good cheddar cheese and some lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun (yum!).  He may pair that with craft beer and occasionally spoils himself with a nice glass of bourbon neat.

Joe and Amanda are enthusiastic about the Hudson Armory Project.   “…it will be an amazing addition to an already great community.    I believe that it will attract even more people to our community which will also help all of the businesses in town grow. This town already supports small business, but in a way that aligns with a community arts center. Restaurants, art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, tattoo shops and more are what makes up the majority of our downtown store fronts which can be looked at as forms of artistic expression.”

As we fall into winter, we encourage you to visit Kith and Kin and partake of their comfort and specialty menu along with supporting the other restaurants and businesses in Hudson.  Stay safe and connected until our next update.

And don’t forget to buy your 50/50 raffle tickets sponsored by the Hudson Downtown Business Improvement District benefitting the Armory Project.  Tickets are $5.00 each and can be purchased from November 1 – December 4 at selected downtown businesses.  Santa selects the winner at the Hudson Holiday Stroll, December 4, at 5:00 pm in front of Town Hall.
